I would suggest that you check the expiration date before you open the twelve pack of smoothies. On September 4, 2008, I opened the 12 pack of smoothies that I received from Amazon.com that date and put them in the refrigerator. A couple of hours later, I opened one to drink and noticed that the stamp on the bottle said "Best before April 25, 2008"!!

WHAT A GREAT PRODUCT. REALLY TAKES THE EDGE OFF WHEN I AM HUNGRY, AND THE HUNGER STAYS AWAY UNTIL MEAL TIME. DELICIOUS, ONLY 90 SMALL CALORIES AND A WHOPPING 5 GRAMS OF FIBER TO BOOT! I HIGHLY RECOMMEND THIS PRODUCT.

I loved this product in its old packaging.
Now...you pay more for less, the packaging is wasteful and difficult to open on the run. Plus the chocolate flavor is too concentrated. I have to add a little skim milk and ice and shake very well. Then it's a decent chocolate smoothie.
But the old one was much better, had a straw and was much easier to use.
Why mess with a good thing???

These smoothies are amazing, especially the chocolate. One of these and a piece of fruit as a snack keeps me full and satisfied. Tried the strawberry smoothie and was not impressed, but if you love chocolate as much as I do you will love these! Enjoy!
