This product is a bit dry when prepared as per instructions. I add a bit of water before micro-cooking and it fluffs up nicely.

Only buy this if you are used to eating brown rice. I bought a whole case of the beef and chicken and have only used one of each. I would've prefered to buy some Thai Kitchen gluten free rice based noodle pruducts that were gluten free. I guess I remember beef/chicken rice a roni that I can no longer eat and this was nothing similar. I was disappointed. I love so many Lundberg products:rice chips, rice cakes, syrup, dry rice, that it surprised me to find one I didn't like.
