This product works as advertised. It makes flawless and tasty bread and jam. Some of the recipes need to be fine tuned in terms of liquid or flour to make a perfect loaf. The only reason I did not give five stars is because the display is difficult to read.

I have been using this product for quite a few years. My original Breadman lasted a long time, until the kneading step stopped working. Everything else worked properly. I immediately replaced my unit with another one.

I bought this 4 years ago. I feel that using it over a hundred times, not encluding just for making dough for other things ,this machine does the job. I tweeked the flange on the inside on the unit and stopped the breadpan from comong loose. Just bend the flanges slighly and the pan snaps right in. As for " Walking " place a moist towel under the machine and it won't crawl. Marble or real smooth counters are usally the problem. Trial and error on your recipes hones your knowledge when to add flour, water, hows the humidity and altitude etc. A little patence and note taking and you will have fun. If not, bread is still sold in stores.

This is the second time I have owned a Breadman 2lb Breadmaker. I used my previous one for 4 1/2 years, 2-3 times a week. I made bread and countless dough recipes. Once in a while I would have a fail, but most likely that was due to pilot error. I had to replace it because the paddle mechanism eventually rusted out, and I was unable to find a replacement pan, despite an extensive search. Having previously owned a Hitachi and a Panasonic, I found the Breadman was far superior. For me, the secret trick is to let the ingredients sit in the breadpan 2 hours before turning it on, so they get up to room temperature. I do wash and dry the breadpan as soon as it's cooled down enough, to reduce it's exposure to moisture. I did look into changing brands, but decided on getting the Breadman once again because of it's dependability and cost value.
